Feet in Clay first workshop of its kind run at The Creative Studio York with voluntary participants recruited from my Ceramic evening classes. Inspired by Giuseppe Penone`s Fists in clay, working with clay as a touch therapy. The Feet in Clay extended an idea from previous clay experiments which caused uplifting tingling sensation responses in my feet that I was compelled to go back and investigate its potential as part of the clay exploration. The participants face shows the sensation of the clay on her feet is having an effect. the breath is considered and her attention is directed is directed towards the area of application.
